Research at Cornell Law School
In my freshman year, I joined the Cornell eRulemaking Initiative, a research group within the Cornell Law School looking to crowd-source the policy-making process by increasing participation from the general public. I contributed to the Natural Language Processing of comments made by the public on proposed policy changes. This data was fed into a machine learning sentiment analysis algorithm which generated meaningful data regarding the most objective and knowledge-based feedback from the community. This was my first and last research stint at Cornell.
